Hmm, we have a print of that painting hanging in our basement. In fact, I can see it right now, as I'm typing this.
I never knew the history of it though...how fascinating.
Art is, by far, one of the best forms of protest.
By the way, light bulb in spanish is "bombilla". There's a lightbulb at the top of the painting. Just something I thought was cool.
